Has anyone here moved from Capture One to Luminar? I'd love to hear your thoughts, please.

often-used buttons have tiny icons, browser thumbnail doesn't just show the cropped version, etc.Īny temporary changes to a process recipe gets saved to the recipe (am I doing this wrong?) I know I can just NOT update, but I expect a perpetual license software should come with regular updates and free minor improvements after a few years. They keep charging for updates that I don't think is worth the asking price. Lightroom and Luminar AI when it comes to image processing. Not much difference since I upgraded to a 16" MBP. On a brighter note, Im going to give Krita a try per this guys review. Performance was a lot better on my old MBA. The Sessions workflow makes more sense to how I organise my files I think overall Capture One is a positive change for me, but I'm not super satisfied with it. I 've been using Capture One since ~2 years ago but I still have Lightroom Classic for my old photos. Most reviews are just comparing it to Lightroom.

I'm trying to look for in-depth reviews comparing Luminar 4 against Capture One.
